How do we address the prevailing breakdown of trust between society at-large and our Governmental and Corporate leadership? We should start with being Honest.
So much of our society is based on this seemingly simple concept; the capacity and willingness of a society to trust the system to allocate justice, fairness, and equality for all. As we can see in other countries where civil unrest has been apparent – Syria, Greece, Thailand, Burma, Egypt, Libya, to name a few – how the public handles grievances is directly related to their trust in the system and how they perceive its ability to right-a-wrong and to establish an equal playing field for its communities and constituents alike. Without this trust, our society as we know it would crumble.
